1. Payment terms: Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
2. Accepted payment methods: We accept payment via:
Bank transfer (preferred)
Cash (by prior agreement only)
Bank details are provided on the invoice.
3. Late payment: If payment is not received by the due date:
Interest may be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
A fixed late fee may be added depending on the invoice amount.
We reserve the right to suspend further work until payment is received.
4. Quotations & Estimates: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, estimates are approximate and may change depending on site conditions or additional work required.
Any additional work will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
5. Materials & Ownership: All materials supplied remain the property of the business until paid in full. We reserve the right to remove unpaid materials where legally permitted.
6. Workmanship Guarantee: All work is carried out to current UK regulations, including BS 7671 Wiring Regulations. A workmanship guarantee of 12 months applies unless stated otherwise
This does not cover misuse, tampering, or external damage.
7. Access & Customer Responsibilities
The customer must:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. Ensure someone is present if required and
inform us of any known hazards or issues before work begins.
8. Cancellations: Cancellations must be made with at least 72 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a call-out charge.
9. Liability: We hold appropriate public liability insurance. We are not liable for:
Pre-existing faults.
Damage caused by third parties.
Indirect or consequential losses.
10. Certification: Where applicable, electrical work will be certified in accordance with Part P of the Building Regulations and relevant governing bodies.
11. Disputes: Any disputes should be raised within 7 days of invoice receipt. We aim to resolve all issues promptly and professionally.
